After 20 million streams of her breakthrough track ‘Rain’ and acclaim for her debut EP ‘Before I Speak’, Lucy Park is primed to amplify her next wave status with her upcoming ‘Good Graces’ EP. Flowing naturally from dreamy soul to alt-pop production flair, all with a warm live feel, the modern soul / R&B style of ‘Good Graces’ echoes such luminous talents as Cleo Sol and Lianne La Havas. Lucy’s collaborators on the set include Dylan Neustadter (SZA, Kesha), Rob Aragon (Joseph Solomon), Jakari, and the Ivor Novello-winning Jonny Lattimer (Olivia Dean, Cat Burns). It’s an intensely personal collection which documents the doubts, fears, hopes and dreams that arose as Lucy left Los Angeles to make a new start in London. But her first-hand experiences are universally reliable as they reflect the turmoil of the big changes that everyone experiences in young adulthood. It’s a time that’s inevitably bittersweet and more than a little daunting: leaving loved ones and a familiar life behind, but knowing that there’s something special waiting over the horizon if you can just face your fears.
